Aldershot, Farnham & District Athletics Club (AFD)


Aldershot, Farnham & District Athletics Club, (AFD) is open to all from the age of 9 depending on availability of coaches. The coach to athlete ratios are set by England Athletics. Potential members are welcome to visit the club before joining. The club expects all members to compete and operates in a range of athletics leagues and competition.

Main training times are:
Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6:30–8:30pm at Aldershot Military Stadium.
Options available for a range of training on the track, on grass or on roads.

Sunday mornings
10:00am-12.00pm at Aldershot Military Stadium car park (steady run varying distance and abilities).
-10:20 for 10:30 start at Duke of Wellington statue (quality sessions).

About Aldershot, Farnham & District Athletics Club

Aldershot and Farnham District Athletics Club was founded in 1966 after the merging of Aldershot and District A.C and Farnham A.C and saw the bringing together of the club colours: red, green, and white. AFD AC are an inclusive club, accepting athletes of all ages and abilities and look to cater for needs of all athletes.

The club is run by volunteers and there are no extra fees for training at the stadium and entry for league competitions is also included.

Age 17 and over £110
Age 11-16 £100
Age 11 and under £90
Family membership is offered at the price of three for the price of two (youngest age member is free). Family membership is only available to young dependents.

Members who do not live in the Aldershot area and who do not train at the Military Stadium have a 50% discount, this includes Student.
New members who join after 1st September for the first year pay 50%.
