Aldershot Underwood Bowls Club is a friendly mixed club situated in a secluded spot just off Eggars Hill on the outskirts of Aldershot. They welcome players of all abilities. New bowlers are particularly welcome. They also have qualified coaches available to help you if you need them.

The club has a full size 6 rink bowling green and a purpose built pavilion housing a clubroom, bar, kitchen and changing rooms.

The club also offers Bowls Bash - a new, casual version of bowls, which is fun, sociable and for everyone! See website for further details.

The outdoor season opens in April each year and finishes at the end of September.
Free parking and all equipment is provided - just flat soled shoes needed.

About Aldershot Underwood Bowling Club

Aldershot Underwood Bowling Club is a small, friendly club with a full size 6 rink bowling green which is considered one of the best kept greens in the area. They have a purpose built pavilion housing a clubroom, bar, kitchen and changing rooms. Bowls is a healthy, fun outdoor sport, which can be played by anyone – young or old. Bowlers of mixed ability can play alongside each other, making it a truly inclusive sport. During the summer season (Apr-Sept) they hold informal bowling sessions twice a week and compete in three local leagues. At the weekends they play numerous friendlies with other local bowling clubs and also hold internal club competitions and events. The facilities are available for members to use at any time. During the winter the Club offers a number of social events for members. They hold a weekly whist drive (all year), have an active Boccia playing community and hold numerous other social events such as race days, quizzes, coffee mornings, Play Your Cards Right etc. The cost of membership is kept reasonable, in line with other local bowling clubs - Playing Member £115 (£55 for new 2024 membership), Social members £20
