Blackwater Valley Runners

About

The main club night is Wednesday. Runs typically last between 60 and 75 minutes, the shortest being around 4 miles and suitable for anyone that can run at least 5km. People usually choose a group where they can run at a relaxed pace and do some chatting on the way. In Winter we use the well lit roads around Aldershot, Farnham, Ash, Tongham, and Farnborough. In Summer we often venture off road.

There is usually the option of a Monday evening track session, a Tuesday session for speed work, a Friday session for hill training, and Sunday morning runs which are usually trail runs in the Surrey Hills countryside. Tuesday and Friday sessions are suitable for all abilities, and there are usually multiple Sunday runs at different speeds/distances to suit most abilities.

Full details are on the website.

Rushmoor Link Community Directory

Welcome to the Rushmoor Link community directory. This is the place to find very local information about activities, groups and community services. Whether you are looking for support, to improve your health and wellbeing, socialise more, get active, learn something new or find a place to meet, Rushmoor Link is a good place to start.

How to get started. Choose a category. Information is sorted into categories by service or organisation name. The directory focuses on what is available locally through statutory, community and voluntary organisations.

Next step. Once you have hit the category button, scroll through the results. You can use the keyword search to narrow down the information (e.g., dementia, Aldershot, football).

It’s a simple system packed full of information. We recommend you do not use punctuation marks like commas (,) or apostrophes (’).
