Carer Support & Dementia Advice Service for Hampshire
About
A Hampshire-wide service providing advice, information and support to all carers aged 18 and above who provide care for an adult. The service also supports people with dementia and memory problems.
If you are concerned about your memory, have a diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment or dementia or are an adult carer, the Referrals and Enquiries team can provide advice, information, signposting and support over the phone, via email and post. There is also a team of Dementia Advisors and Carer Support Workers who work out in the community and can also look to support you in a number of different ways.
Carers: One to one support. Peer support groups. Workshops and training.
People with dementia: Face to face appointments. Welfare calls. Groups. Drop ins and clinics.
The core opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.00 β 17.00 although it is recognised that carers may need to be contacted at other times to suit their individual circumstances. You can self-refer or make contact via the Referrals and Enquiries team on 01264 332297 and select option 3. Alternatively please email: enquiries@andovermind.org.uk.
