Carer's Assessment (Hampshire)
About
Carer's assessments are for those aged 18 years and above who may need support in their caring role. A carer's assessment can be conducted regardless of the amount or type of care the carer provides, financial circumstances or the level of need for support.
A carer's assessment gives the opportunity to discuss:
- Their role as a carer.
- Talk and reflect on the carer's own needs.
- Experience of caring.
- What networks, local community services and charities are able to support the carer.
More detail about how to prepare for the assessment is available via the web-link.
