Cove Brook Greenway
About
Cove Brook is a 3.5km wildlife-rich greenway running through the middle of a built-up area of Farnborough (from Farnborough Airfield to Hawley Lane), with paths along most of its course. Herons, kingfishers and several sorts of fish inhabit the brook.
Features and facilities include paths suitable for walkers, runners, cyclists and those who use mobility scooters, a bridge and dipping areas with safe access. Schools and groups can arrange to use the group's equipment which include dipping nets, grass nets, magnifiers and identification charts. They can also arrange to use the small field centre room by agreement.
Volunteering opportunities to help manage and maintain the area are available through the Cove Brook Greenway Group.
