The Farnborough Gate Bowling Club is a friendly club and welcome bowlers of all ages - new, novice and competitive bowlers. In the closed season they play short mat bowls. There are weekly roll ups, friendly games and league matches. Regular social groups include weekly whist and darts on Wednesday evenings, and monthly events include bingo, race nights, beetle drives and quiz nights. About Farnborough Gate Bowling Club

Farnborough Gate is a small bowls club tucked away at the bottom of Ringwood Road, behind The Ship Inn and the Farnborough Gate Shopping centre. They offer a wide range of bowling experiences. You may just wish to go along for an occasional roll up with fellow bowlers, Wednesday afternoon being a particularly popular time. As a newcomer you have reduced fees in the first year and if you have never bowled, then they can make sure that you get some guidance as well as encouragement as you master the art of bowling.
