About The Association of Inner Wheel Clubs
Inner Wheel was founded in Manchester in 1924. There are currently approx. 500 clubs in Great Britain & Ireland, divided into 29 Districts. Clubs meet regularly and have a full and varied programme through which friendships form and flourish. Friendship is promoted through visiting other clubs and joining in their activities and also through supporting members in the community such as refuge centres for abused women, hostels for the dispossessed, child centres, drop-in centres, school breakfast clubs and more.
