Hampshire Learns: Adult's Skills/Careers Support


Hampshire Learns is a service for adults aged 19+ and is provided by Hampshire County Council's Participation and Lifelong Learning Service. They offer face to face training/courses as well as online programmes that develop skills, confidence, motivation and resilience which help adults to progress towards formal learning or employment, improve their health and well-being (including mental health) and develop stronger communities. Face to face sessions take place at local venues such as community centres, libraries, schools, children’s centres, and village halls.

Courses include:
Employability programmes to support learners into work
English and Maths
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
Computing / IT
Childcare / Parenting
Health and Wellbeing
Cookery and Food Preparation
Arts and Crafts

Without a full Level 2
In receipt of Income Support or Universal Credit
Families with school age children in receipt of free school meals
Have a learning difficulty and/or disability
