Hampshire Macmillan Citizens Advice Service
About
The Hampshire Macmillan Citizens Advice Service gives free, impartial and confidential advice on a variety of issues, including benefits, housing, employment and debt for anyone who has cancer, or is affected by cancer. The service also provides help with benefit appeals and applying for grants. The service gives advice over the phone, at your home, or in local hospitals, hospices, and Citizens Advice offices across Hampshire including Portsmouth, Southampton and the Isle of Wight. The service has a team of specialist caseworkers who provide this support.
Hampshire Macmillan Citizens Advice Service (HMCAS) caseworkers are all currently working from home providing our Service in the best way they can during normal core hours of 9.00-17.00- Monday to Friday. The telephone helpline for cancer clients and their families is available Monday β Friday 9.00-16.00. Clients will be able to speak directly to a caseworker, where they may be helped straight away or be referred to another caseworker who is not monitoring the phone line.
Please send any referrals or ask clients to contact the service directly if they are affected by cancer and are living in or being treated in Hampshire. Referral form is available by following the web-link below.
