Lydian Singers Ladies Choir

About

Choir rehearsals are 7.30-9.30pm Tuesday evenings during term time at The Wesley Hall, North Camp Methodist Church, Lynchford Road, North Camp, Farnborough GU14 6EG. (Access to the hall is via the car park entrance).

The Lydian Singers hold three "at home" concerts per year at their rehearsal venue, and during the year they also perform "away" as guests elsewhere at concerts, weddings etc. Their "at home" concerts are at the end of each school term, i.e. spring, summer and Christmas, and they often invite guest ensembles to add contrast and variety to their concerts.

Their social life is full and varied. Every year they have an annual dinner, a summer garden party and a Christmas party. Other social events are organised from time to time; these include skittles evenings, picnics, boat trips, barbecues and theatre trips.

Every year they choose a charity to support and raise money both at their concerts and at other events such as charity carol singing and coffee mornings.

About The Lydian Singers

The Lydian Singers are a friendly, local ladies’ community choir who sing a varied repertoire ranging from the musicals to Mozart! They always love to welcome new members - no audition is required – all you need is a love of singing! Whilst the ability to read music is a benefit, it is not essential and much of their rehearsal time is spent on learning notes, thus allowing us to be as inclusive as possible.

Rushmoor Link Community Directory

Welcome to the Rushmoor Link community directory. This is the place to find very local information about activities, groups and community services. Whether you are looking for support, to improve your health and wellbeing, socialise more, get active, learn something new or find a place to meet, Rushmoor Link is a good place to start.

How to get started. Choose a category. Information is sorted into categories by service or organisation name. The directory focuses on what is available locally through statutory, community and voluntary organisations.

Next step. Once you have hit the category button, scroll through the results. You can use the keyword search to narrow down the information (e.g., dementia, Aldershot, football).

It’s a simple system packed full of information. We recommend you do not use punctuation marks like commas (,) or apostrophes (’).
