MHA Communities Social Groups

About

Develop new skills through activities such as arts and crafts, games and others, as well as enjoying guest speakers and entertainers. Hot/Cold drinks and biscuits provided. Self-referrals are welcomed.
The following groups are currently held in Rushmoor:

- Farnborough Chit Chat Over A Cuppa
meet every Tuesday from 10.00am – 12.00pm at the Cove Bowling Club.

- Farnborough Lunch Club
meet monthly on a Tuesday from 12pm – 2pm at Cove Bowling Club.

Transport:
Mini Bus transport or staff/volunteer car transport local to the group may be provided where possible and where there is seat availability. A full transport risk assessment is required before travelling.

At MHA Communities Hampshire North, we want to enable older people to maintain their independence and live more fulfilled lives.

Through befriending, lunch clubs, assisted shopping, activity and friendship sessions, outings, escorts to appointments and much more, MHA's Live at Home schemes across the UK help to tackle loneliness and isolation in people over 60 – helping them to lead fulfilled lives and remain as active members in their local communities.
