Rowhill Nature Reserve
About
Rowhill Nature Reserve is a 55-acre nature reserve on the Aldershot-Farnham border and is popular with families and local dog walkers. It is unsurfaced and steep in places and there is also a surfaced, level trail. The nature reserve has a mostly mixed deciduous woodland which is noted for its bluebells in Spring, a working coppice, is the source of the River Blackwater and has a diverse range of other habitats including heathland, meadow, sphagnum bog, ponds, streams and pine woodland. Cycling is not allowed in the reserve.
Facilities and features include a 2.3km circular signposted walk and trail, a field centre, a network of paths and several entry points.

Sunday & Bank Holiday afternoons from 2.00-4.30pm

Conservation volunteering through the Rowhill Nature Reserve Society is managed by Rushmoor Borough Council. Membership is open to all who are interested in natural history and continuing the preservation of the reserve. Practical management work in the reserve takes place on the first, third and fifth Sundays of the month.
