About

The Runway's End Outdoor Centre sits beside the Basingstoke Canal and boasts a wide range of environmental and adventure activities on land and water. In addition, the site offers a range of accommodation, from traditional camping to heated camping pods, or the use of a fully equipped lodge house. Their halls and offices are also available to hire for meetings, briefings, children's parties, school activities, uniformed & community groups and corporate team building . Activities offered include:
-Half Day Adventures (2 hours 30 minutes) for people aged 6+ includes climbing, archery, air-rifle shooting and caving.
-Guided Canoe Tours (2 hours 30 minutes) for people aged 6+
-Woodland Warriors: (9.30am-4.30pm) for children aged 7-11. This is a full day of activity combing an exploration of nature & wildlife with complementary adventurous activities like canoeing, climbing, abseiling, high ropes, and archery. Day and week options are available.
-Forge Lodge provides self-catered accommodation for up to 71 people.
-Camping is available for individuals, families and groups.
-Corporate Team Building
-Birthday Parties for up to 10 children per activity
-Uniform & Community group activities
-School activities

Hall & office hire:
Facilities and equipment include a main hall (67m2, standing capacity 110, seated capacity 75), Farrier Hall (on ground floor level, standing capacity 60, seated capacity 30), Lampard Room (on 1st floor level, standing capacity 15, seated capacity 12, outdoor space, camping pods, camping pitches, indoor accommodation, toilets including accessible toilets, car parking (30 spaces and three disabled spaces), tables & chairs, kitchens and equipment, interactive smartboard, Wi-Fi, projectors & screens, meeting rooms/break out areas.
