Rushmoor Connect -transport service

About

Rushmoor Connect (formerly Dial-a-Ride) is a door-to-door mini-bus service available to anyone who has a mobility or sensory impairment which means that they are unable to, or experience difficulty or discomfort in, using bus services. Wheelchairs and scooters can be accommodated. Please visit the website for the registration form which is required before using the service.

Bookings:
Please call to discuss your requirements and book your journeys. The Transport Scheduler will do her best to give you the pick-up time you request, although this may not always be possible. Bookings are available up to 6 days in advance of your journey and the line is open Monday–Friday 9.30am-12.30pm.

Operating times:
Monday & Wednesday 9am – 12.45pm
Tuesday & Thursday 9am – 4.30pm
Friday & Saturday 9am – 4pm
On certain days trips are offered to The Meadows/Camberley & Badshot Lea Garden Centre.

The accessible mini-buses are also available for hire to community groups. Bookings can be made by phone or email. Please visit the website for more information.

About Rushmoor Voluntary Services

Rushmoor Voluntary Services (RVS) are members of the Hampshire CVS Network, an alliance of 8 local organisations covering 11 districts, who work together to help Hampshire’s voluntary sector to succeed and flourish. Their role in the community is to champion volunteering and to help and support any charitable, voluntary or community group or social enterprise (VCSE) benefitting the Borough of Rushmoor. RVS delivers projects and services that are of community benefit which include Blooming Marvellous, Home Help, Community transport for Rushmoor & Hart, Accessible transport for Rushmoor & Hart residents, Thames Valley Positive Support and befriending & buddying for older residents in Rushmoor. They cover areas in Aldershot, Farnborough, North Camp and Blackwater Valley in the Northeast corner of Hampshire.

Vary according to the destination.
If you have an essential escort (e.g. to push your wheelchair) they may travel free. You will need to state this requirement on your registration form and explain why the escort is necessary.
