The Rushmoor Gymnastics Academy offers a Playgym for children under 5 years as well as recreational and competitive training classes.

Playgym (for children under 5 years only):
Monday-Friday 9:30-10:30am & 10:45-11:45am

Classes:
-Bouncing Bunnies (for 18 months+) is the first structured class that any child would take in the Club.
-Gymjoy (for children aged 4-5 years)
-Gymdreams (for children aged 5-6 years)
-Gymstars (for children aged 7-8 years)
-Flipsters (for children aged 9 years+)
-Intermediate path: for those selected and would like to develop their skills and compete in occasional competitions (training involves 4-9.5 hours per week).
-Elite path: requires commitment from gymnasts and their families with the emphasis on enjoying the sport (training involves 4-20+ hours a week). Gymnasts in this group compete at County, Regional & National Levels and the hope is that some will compete at International Level.

About Rushmoor Gymnastics Academy

Founded in 1974, Camberley has established itself as one of the Nation’s leading Women's Artistic Gymnastics Clubs, finally achieving one of its major goals in 1990 when the team captured first place in the British Open Team Championships. Operating in a purpose built training facility since 1981, the Club has expanded enormously since the early days, and now has seventeen full time and part time coaches and a range of classes, for both boys and girls, catering for all levels of ability from under 5s to adult keep fit, and complemented by a very full competition programme. In 1997 the club had a major change of direction and changed its name from Camberley Gymnastics Club to Rushmoor Gymnastics Academy in anticipation of its move to the Borough of Rushmoor in the summer of 2000.
