Rushmoor Repair Cafe

About

Rushmoor Repair Cafe is a group of like-minded people who have been brought together by Rushmoor Voluntary Services. They meet once a month to repair a variety of items from textiles, bicycles, clocks, electrical items and furniture – amongst a host of other items! The team has a passion to get things working for you again - to save you money and avoid sending items to land fill – in the hope of reducing carbon emissions and helping the environment.

Repair cafe sessions are held once a month on the third Saturday at the West End Center, Aldershot, from 10:30am to 1:30pm, with last repair registrations at 1pm. All registration is done on the day and there is no need to pre-book but - please note the miscrowave repair conditions below. They register one item per customer at a time (see the T&Cs on the website). Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee whilst you wait for your repair! You can watch the repair process and talk to your repairer about what is done to your broken item.

A free car park is located at the back of The West End Centre accessible via William Farthing Close, off Queens Road. It is available on a first come first served basis but please make sure to register your vehicle at reception as the car park is managed by a member company of the British Parking Association (BPA) with a camera-based number plate recognition system. Ask reception or any of our volunteers if you need help with this.
The West End Center is a 15 minute walk away from Aldershot train station via Station Road and Victoria Road. Local buses (numbers 4 and 5) stop nearby in Queens Road.

This is an accessible venue with ramps at the front, and car park entrances for wheel chair access. Please contact the West End Centre for full details.

Rushmoor Link Community Directory

Welcome to the Rushmoor Link community directory. This is the place to find very local information about activities, groups and community services. Whether you are looking for support, to improve your health and wellbeing, socialise more, get active, learn something new or find a place to meet, Rushmoor Link is a good place to start.

How to get started. Choose a category. Information is sorted into categories by service or organisation name. The directory focuses on what is available locally through statutory, community and voluntary organisations.

Next step. Once you have hit the category button, scroll through the results. You can use the keyword search to narrow down the information (e.g., dementia, Aldershot, football).

It’s a simple system packed full of information. We recommend you do not use punctuation marks like commas (,) or apostrophes (’).

Spotted a mistake or something is missing? Please do contact us if you are aware that any information is incorrect or missing via info@rvs.org.uk.
