About

Samuel Cody School has the following facilities available to hire to social groups as well as to local sports clubs and performing arts groups:

3G Pitch
There is a full size LED floodlit 3G football pitch available to hire as a whole or in quarters, ideal for 5-a side groups or clubs. The pitch is regularly maintained and approved by the FA. There are 5-a-side goals in each quarter, 2 sets of 9-a-side goals for 1/2 pitch bookings and 11-a-side goals at each end of pitches 1 and 2 for 11-a-side games.

Separate to the 3G there is a caged 5-aside football facility with a brand new 3G service available to hire.

Sports Hall
The Sports Hall is available to hire weekday evenings and at the weekends, excluding Bank Holidays. It can be hired for a variety of sports including the following:
Indoor Football
Netball
Basketball
Badminton
Volleyball
Futsal
Handball
Volleyball

It can also be used for large aerobic and dance classes.

Main Hall
The Main Hall is one of the largest in Hampshire schools, suitable for weddings, celebrations and family events. It also comes complete with a stage which makes an ideal venue for professional and amateur shows or dance competitions. The capacity depends on set up, but for a seated dinner the hall will seat 300 people. There is a Halequin dance floor.
The stage has performance curtain and wing access for actors/dancers to enter the stage. There is access to a warm up area and changing rooms at the rear of the stage. Stage Lighting is available, additional fees apply,

Community Hall
The Community Hall is ideal for a smaller family event or can be booked in conjunction with the Main Hall for a larger events. There are 30 tables and over 100 chairs that can be used as part of the hire with a capacity for 200. It is a self contained hall with an integrated kitchenette with a sink, fridge and serving area. With easy access to the outside this is an ideal venue to host summer bbqs with the field area also bookable to increase your guest capacity. Please note the field is booked separately.

The hall is also also available to book on a weekly basis for groups for rehearsal space, meetings or clubs. It is ideal for children’s groups such as scouts, brownies, drama or singing. It is available to book during the day time as it is stand-alone from the main school, so is ideal for larger meetings or training courses.

Good to know

User Cost/Charge Information
Regular bookings are invoiced once a month in arrears, and can be paid via Scopay, where you can also view your booking. Please note this cannot be completed by BACS but with a debit or credit card.

Event Bookings need to pay a £250 deposit which is returnable after the event. This must be paid by card. You will then be invoiced for the full amount 3 months prior to your booking. All payment can be made by debit or credit card over the phone.
