Supported Living - Aldershot

About

SeeAbility offers supported living services in Aldershot in a purpose-built, accessible accommodation for six adults with learning disabilities and a range of other needs, including sight loss, autism and epilepsy.

Facilities includes a communal lounge, bathroom, kitchen and dining area, unfurnished bedrooms with en-suite wet-rooms. The house is fully accessible for wheelchair users. Activities include art classes, cookery, playing music and spending time in the community.

About SeeAbility

SeeAbility is one of the oldest disability charities in the UK and has pioneered specialist support for over 220 years. SeeAbility specialise in supporting and assisting people who have learning disabilities or autism, who may also have sight loss, to live independently in their own home. The clinical assessment & intervention team includes qualified vision rehabilitation workers (sometimes also called 'ROVIs'), behaviour consultants, speech & language therapists, physiotherapists and optometrists. Their focus is on encouraging people to challenge themselves to achieve their own goals and get the most out of life, while supporting increased independence and choice through a Positive Behaviour Support framework.
