The Shots Foundation

About

The Shots Foundation works with local schools, community groups, charities, organisations and stakeholders to improve lives and provide opportunities through a series of fundraising, engagement and inclusion initiatives. The Foundation runs activity sessions and support for children, veterans, those visually impaired, and older people.

Veterans Hub (Vets Hub):
Meet on the last Wednesday of the month 10:30am-12:30pm in the John McGinty Lounge (EBB Stadium).
The Hub is a key place for veterans and their families to come to in times of crisis and tough times. It offers drop in clinics, signposting and advice services from mainstream charities and local government services. If you are interested in attending or would like to give a talk, please contact kay.khan@shotsfoundation.org

Visually Impaired Football (for people aged 16+):
Meet on the first Monday of every month 5:30-6:30pm at the Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre.
These sessions provide visually impaired or blind individuals the opportunity to keep active and keep their love of football alive. For more information, please contact jamie.macallister@shotsfoundation.org

Children:
- After School Clubs are delivered by FA Qualified and experienced coaches from 3:30pm-4:30pm. The schools currently running the clubs include Talavera Junior School, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Waverley Abbey Junior School, Hale Primary School, Dogmersfield CofE School. If your child attends one of these schools and would like more information, or if you are part of a school that would like to benefit from these after-school clubs, please contact jamie.macallister@shotsfoundation.org
- School Holiday Camps run from 10am-3pm. Please visit the website for more information and camp dates.

OlderShots Walking Football (for people aged 50+ and with doctor’s permission):
Meet on Mondays 8.00-9.00pm at Tomlinscote School; Thursdays 8.00-9.00pm at Samuel Cody School; Tuesdays & Fridays 10.00-11.00am at Frimley Lodge Park. Please visit the website for more information and to download the medical questionnaire.
