Farnborough and District u3a
About
The Farnborough and District U3A has over 80 groups, ranging from Art Appreciation to the various Walking Groups, most of which are included within your annual Membership Fee. The group listings are available to view on the Groups tab on their website. The groups are mainly led by members and offer a very wide range of leisure, social & educational activities. There’s plenty of opportunity to meet new people, acquire knowledge, have fun and extend your horizons. Their maxim is Learn, Laugh, Live.
If you are concerned that the group that interests you might not be the right "fit" for you personally, contact the Group Leader through the website for more information. You can also request 2 taster sessions for a maximum of 3 groups, but do check that there is space in the groups for you.
Monthly Meetings are open to all members, plus non-members who would like to find out more about the U3A. Topics cover a wide range of subjects likely to be of general interest. Other additional social events, such as Quiz Night, Xmas get-together, and the AGM, are held during the year where members from the different groups can meet and socialise.

About U3A Farnborough & District
U3A is a UK-wide movement of retired and semi-retired people who come together to continue their educational, social and creative interests in a friendly and informal environment.
It's all voluntary; a typical U3A will be home to many activity groups covering hundreds of different subjects - from art to zoology and everything in between.
The Farnborough & District U3A
was set up over thirty years ago, and now has over 100 activity groups. Some are academic, others are practical. Those interested in physical activities can join dance, walking, various keep-fit / exercise groups as well as some sport groups.
