Weight Management Support (Hampshire)
About
WeightWatchers and Hampshire County Council are working together to help local residents lose weight and improve their health and wellbeing. They are offering a free tailored service which includes digital support for 12 weeks. Their goal is to help individuals lose 5% of their initial body weight, which can have significant health benefits.
To qualify for the free programme you need to be:
- 18+ (those aged 16 or 17 are accepted by referral/consent from a health care professional only and accompanied by a parent or guardian).
- Body Mass Index (BMI) >30 or >27.5 (those with Long Term Conditions or from minority ethnic groups). A BMI calculator and guide is available on the website.
- Hampshire resident or registered with a Hampshire GP.
- Not pregnant.
